Rock On!
- Girl At The Rock Show

Song of the Day: Heaven Can Wait by We The Kings... just a catchy pop punk tune by a few boys from Bradenton, Florida. Yes, I realize most of their fans are younger, but I don't care. I've seen these guys play live and they are incredible! Very talented, great sound and catchy music.

  1. Do you know any of these bands? Which would you recommend?

  2. I do know a good majority of the bands I list. Out of this one, my personal recommendations would be:

USS: amazing live show, unforgettable. Music is unique and well performed and the simple yet bizarre live act is one to talk about.

Creepshow: Very talented quartet from the Burlington area. Stand up bass, strong vocals and often described as "rockabilly horror rock". All makes for a definite winning combination

Attack In Black: so long as they are sober when they play, they are phenomenal. Their albums are fantastic but sadly if you get them liquored up the show kind of falls short. Still, worth the chance because they are really great otherwise.

Malajube: Recently introduced to them by a friend who really knows his indie... he loves them and from what I've heard, so do I!

Young Galaxy: Again, same friend introduced me to them, and same response. He says they're going to be big and I'd believe it!

Matadors: Need some good old punk rock? Check out this local act. Been around the scene for a while now and they never disappoint a CTO crowd.

Sorry it took me so long to respond! Older blog comments tend to not show up on my main screen but I fixed that now so it wont happen again. Thanks for the comment, hope this helps!
