Green Day Plays New Track For Upcoming Live DVD Filming

Hey Everyone!
Slightly delayed, I know considering this happened in late August, but I've been busy reliving my own Green Day memories ahaha. As some of you may know, Green Day have been hard at work on this round of touring... filming a brand new live DVD! For those of you who own their live DVDs of the past, you know how exciting this is! There aren't even words to describe the epic-ness that is Bullet In A Bible haha.

In any case, while performing in Denver on August 28/2010, the boys decided to unveil a new song. I use the term "new" loosely though. Word has it that THIS track by the name of Cigarettes and Valentines was one of those stolen from the studio, this theft of course, led to the creation of one of the most brilliant albums of the modern generation, American Idiot. A big story for such a "new" song. Give it a listen, see what you think! I love it, sounds a lot like old school Green Day... like 1991-1994. I could even see this making an appearance on Insomniac. Has a similar feel to it with the chord choices, the progression, the simple yet effective solo, and the catchy lyrics.

What do you think? And who's excited for a new Green Day DVD??? I AM!

Axl Rose Back To His Old Tricks

Hey Everybody!
Well, I guess Axl never really left the jungle behind, eh? The front man is back to his old routine of disappointing his fans with diva stage antics. At a performance in Dublin a couple of days ago, he showed up late to the performance, prompting the crowd to throw drinks and other objects at the stage. And of course, in his true fashion, Axl stormed off the stage before the second song of the set was finished.

Sources say that the band was scheduled to hit the stage around 9:45pm, but didnt actually manage to do so until nearly 10:30pm. Personally, I dont blame fans for getting a bit rowdy! I'd be kind of pissed off having to wait that long too. I was mad enough waiting 20mins for the Stone Temple Pilots!

What do you think? Would you be mad? What about Axl's behaviour?

Trent Reznor Film Score Makes Its Debut

Hey Everyone!
Wow, feels great to be back! I cant even begin to tell you how much I missed my daily writing. Alright, lets get into it! So even though Trent Reznor called it 'quits' with NIN a while back, it seems that music is truly in his blood. He cant seem to slow down, and why should he?! He's BRILLIANT.

Some of you may have heard about the new movie coming out. The Social Network- the one based on Facebook? Well, Trent Reznor is going to be the man behind the music! Trent is composing the music for the film, and I'm personally very excited to hear it. I'm predicting clean cut techno... something simple, yet fascinating. Not overpowering... just an interesting add to the background.

What do you think? Reznor going to be successful as usual???
