Green Day and AFI Announce Summer Tour Dates

Hey Everyone!
So Green Day have finally come forward with the first confirmed dates for their summer arena tour and the run is shaping up to look like a good one. Better yet? The boys will be taking fellow California rockers A.F.I out to support them. Definitely looking like a show I (personally) cant miss. Both bands started out around the same time and have a fair bit of history together so it could be cool to see that brought back to the stage. They've both also produced some amazing albums over the past decade so there is guaranteed to be a great mix of fan classics and radio favorites. Tickets for the Toronto show as well as a number of US shows will go on sale via Ticket Master THIS Saturday at 1pm eastern time. Prices range from $25-$89 (rest assured the cost is WORTH IT). Young Veins Announce Tour Dates!

Hey Everyone!
While many 13 year olds are still mourning the "break up" of Panic! At The Disco (and by breakup I mean that 2 members left but Brendon and Spencer are still playing under the same banner), some may be cheered up by this news. Jon Walker and Ryan Ross will be hitting the road this spring with their new act- The Young Veins.

If you like the flowery 60s inspired direction of their last release Pretty Odd, then maybe this is worth looking into. It takes a few GIANT steps in that same direction. Its very much "hippy" rock in a modern form. Think Mad As Rabbits from their last album... great song, but imagine an entire album of strange, upbeat pop songs with odd messages haha. If that sounds appealing to you, then check it out... they're not bad at all, I just dont know that they'll ever be on my list of favorites ahaha. I think I'd definitely check out the album if it ever gets released.

Ross and Walker are talented musicians with a lot of industry experience for their respective ages. I cant imagine that they would go through with this unless they thought it would benefit them... but maybe you need more than a couple songs before you go on an all out tour? I mean, this thing has a pretty extensive run! Check out the dates below!

Bamboozle Expect Boom In Ticket Sales With Upcoming Announcement

Hey Everyone!
So rumor has it that the New York Times will be announcing some new acts scheduled to join the already astonishing lineup of the 2010 New Jersey Bamboozle Festival. The three day concert spectacular, already slated to host acts like Paramore and Weezer, is now said to be bringing rising stars Ke$ha and Drake into the mix. With a mega star lineup that crosses over a variety of genres, who can blame them for expecting a rapid growth in ticket sales?

What do you think of this announcement? If its true, would you be more inclined to go?
Could be interesting

Warped Tour To Announce Dates

Hey Everyone!
For those of you, who like myself, are Warped Tour fanatics- the tour announced today via twitter that they will be announcing the dates this week. First week of December follows the typical time frame for this announcement, so it was only to be expected. But I have to say, I'm still pretty excited. I literally plan my summer around attending this, and have for the past 6 years. They have also announced on their facebook fan page that Alternative Press' Most Anticipated Releases of 2010 gives some good insight to the lineup that is beginning to form. Hmmm sounds good to me, I cant wait!

Song of the Day: Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional... this is a beautiful song, if you havent heard it definitely check it out. My friends and I used to pull out our guitars and strum along to this back in high school. Just a soft little romantic emo rock tune.
