SUM 41 Involved In Drunk Driving Accident

Hey Everyone!

Relax, no one in the band was behind the wheel. No, it seems like our Canadian boys in Sum 41 are having some rotten luck with their bus on this year's Vans Warped Tour. Apparently, their driver got behind the wheel after a few drinks and ran the bus off the road, endangering the lives of those on the road and those on board.

In a series of early morning twitter posts, the band gave fans a sort of play-by-play of the unfolding events. From the accident, to near fights, and replacement driver salvation, they let everybody know what was going on. They also made sure to note that the driver would never work for the band again, thank god. Drunk driving is seriously scary. You risk so many lives in taking hold of the wheel while drunk. Especially when you control a tour bus- thats a weapon in itself. A lot of metal, steel, and speed. Lethal combination when handled in a wreckless way.

Teaser For Katy Perry's New Video Hits The Viral Circuit!

Hey Everyone!

Seems that yesterday, Katy Perry unveiled a 30 second clip of her new music video for "California Gurls". The song is reportedly her west coast response to Jay-Z's wildly popular "New York" which had everyone praising the country's east coast. Feeling the need to represent her coast and gender, Katy came up with this catchy summer hit. I love it. The first time I heard it, I wasnt so sure. But after a few patio nights with my girls, this song just seemed to define the early summer feeling. Check out the video clip below!

Green Day and AFI Announce Summer Tour Dates

Hey Everyone!

So Green Day have finally come forward with the first confirmed dates for their summer arena tour and the run is shaping up to look like a good one. Better yet? The boys will be taking fellow California rockers A.F.I out to support them. Definitely looking like a show I (personally) cant miss. Both bands started out around the same time and have a fair bit of history together so it could be cool to see that brought back to the stage. They've both also produced some amazing albums over the past decade so there is guaranteed to be a great mix of fan classics and radio favorites. Tickets for the Toronto show as well as a number of US shows will go on sale via Ticket Master THIS Saturday at 1pm eastern time. Prices range from $25-$89 (rest assured the cost is WORTH IT).
