Stars New Album Now Streaming

Hey Everyone!

So Canadian indie rockers, Stars, have unveiled their newest album for online streaming. The highly anticipated release is the band's fifth full length release in a decade (formed 2000). The album is entitled "The Five Ghosts" and is set to hit shelves on tuesday, June 22, 2010. The band recently did a promotional cross country tour of Canada in support of the release and from what I hear, the shows were fantastic. Butch Walker Streams New Album Online

Hey Everyone!

Just a quick note for all the Butch Walker fans out there. He and his current band, The Black Widows, have just posted the new album for full streaming online! Thats right, you can check out the full album by clicking HERE. Eleven new tracks in all, and the Itunes purchases will be available with a few rare tracks and B-Sides.

 

There are also a few interesting packages available for purchase... specifically package four. For a mere $25,000USD, you can "spend a weekend in Butch's spare bedroom, collaborating on a song that will appear on his new album and play the song live on stage together during his next tour"... all that and a signed limited edition vinyl + more... not bad haha. If anyone has a spare $25,000 lying around this might be a cool investment (although I really believe this is a huge joke haha) Just a point though, if you click "buy now" it takes you to an email with the subject "inquire about $25k pre-order".

New Motion City Soundtrack Song Posted To Myspace

Hey Everyone!

Motion City Soundtrack have posted a new song stream on their myspace page. The song is called Worker Bees and will be released on their upcoming album My Dinosaur Life which you can find on store shelves January 19th. The group have also released a music video for the first single, Her Words Destroyed My Planet. Check out the myspace streaming here (which is said to be getting hold of the full album soon- so keep watching!) and the video below.

Vampire Weekend Streams Upcoming Album

Hey Everyone!

As promised, I'm back! Did you miss me? Probably not all that much, but its alright. I enjoyed my break and now that school is back in session, its time to get back into blogging. Such a stress relief, I highly recommend it for anyone in need! Anyways, back to the post!

A few days ago, band to watch Vampire Weekend began streaming their upcoming album "Contra" on their myspace. If you aren't familiar with them yet, get ready to be. This band is being noted by some of the best critics and magazines out there as one about to hit it big. Already quite popular in the indie scene, this band is going to be huge. I can pretty much promise you that. Its refreshing, its interesting and its amazing. So if you haven't had a chance to check them out yet, definitely do that. Keep your eyes peeled, its only a matter of time after the album's release that they will take off with full force!
